Our initial consultation and quote for services is free.

Is there a fee for landscape design?
In general, fees are dependent on the scope of the project. Your designer or landscape architect will be able to provide an estimate for your design following your initial consultation. Design fees may be reimbursed in part or full when a customer contracts with LandWorks for their landscape installation.

How much control do I have over the design?
As much or as little as you'd like. When we meet with you to begin the design process, we'll discuss your tastes, planned uses for your new space, plant preferences and much more. Consider us your partner – we'll work with you in a way that's most comfortable for you.

When can you begin my new landscape installation or renovation?
Typically we can begin within a few weeks of receiving your signed contract – sometimes sooner, depending on the time of year. As we finalize our agreement, we'll let you know approximately when your new installation or renovation will begin. Our timeline, of course, is dependent on weather conditions too.

Will I have the same crew throughout my landscape project?
Yes, from start to finish.

What does a typical landscape renovation cost?
Costs can range greatly depending on things like site accessibility, removal of existing plant material and hardscaping materials, and grade or drainage issues. A thorough evaluation of the site and landscape plan is necessary to provide an accurate estimate.

Why should I spend money improving my landscape?
Your landscape is one of the few investments you can make that will result in a significant improvement in the value of your property. We spend the same amount on vehicles that last seven years at best and depreciate from the point of purchase. Why not make an investment that grows?

Landscape Maintenance
Do you charge for landscape maintenance estimates?
Our initial consultation and quote for services is free. We complete a thorough site evaluation prior to providing a quote for services, so we can custom-tailor the program best suited to the needs of the property.

What does your full-service maintenance program include?
Each program is tailored to the property; however, full-service maintenance typically includes weeding, pruning and plant care; mowing; and lawn fertilization and weed control.

When do maintenance services begin and end each year?
Spring clean-ups usually take place in the beginning of April, followed by application of pre-emergent weed control and lawn fertilization. Mowing and horticultural services typically begin around late April and end around the beginning of November, followed by fall clean-ups. The length of the maintenance season, however, is often dictated by weather conditions.

How does billing work?
Most customers are billed in eight equal monthly installments, April through November. We also offer a 12 month installment plan. MasterCard and Visa are also happily accepted.

Will I have the same schedule and crew that I had last season?
Whenever possible, we do our best to accommodate requests for maintenance services on particular days. We also like to keep crews on a property for more than one season so the crew becomes intimately familiar with the landscape and your individual tastes.
